Under the theme “Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainability, Society, Religion and Development,” this conference provides an interdisciplinary scholarly platform that brings together diverse perspectives to critically engage with issues of sustainability, society, religion, and development in Kalimantan within broader regional and global contexts.
The conference aims to:
Foster cross-disciplinary and international academic collaboration Strengthen the role of local wisdom and Indigenous knowledge in sustainable development
Examine the interconnections between religion, ethics, environmental stewardship, and social transformation
Expand national and international scholarly networks
In addition to academic paper presentations, the conference will feature an International Community Engagement (PKM) program at the Orangutan Conservation Area of Tanjung Puting National Park, integrating scholarly discourse with community engagement and environmental responsibility.
